farmquilt

I did not grow up on a farm but I had a lot  of relatives with them and my
(grandpa) mom's dad had a centenial farm. When ever we went to visit we had so much fun feeding the new babies and playing in the hay. The hay was not kept in bales but in a hay mound. Of course our cousins all told us we wouldn't like it if we had to do it every day, rain or shine. Still some very happy and funny memories remain. One of many is the time I was feeding a baby calf and when the bottle was empty he decided he wanted more . I
turned my back for just a minute and  he sucked on my skirt hem . My cousins were just standing there with big ole grins (I didn't have a clue) then I felt a sudden draft as my skirt quickly drifted to my feet!!
Another was when one of my cousins tried to tell me they had a 1 teated
cow! Ya Sure! LOL
anyway I thought it would be fun to do farm animal quilt.
