Hello Kitty

She Slithers and stretches, Her paws spread out
The rug she scratches
She struts to and fro searching about
Deciding where to go

A movement catches her eye, Oh wahta fun
she spotted a fly!
She slouches real low  and studies it's fluttering
Then springs to the curtain a growl uttering

She bats with her paw, and switches her tail
The chase is on!
Over the cushions and past the sofa she sails

Up on the chair, then down under the table
She swats again reaching under the rung
as far as she is able

Suddenly, she pauses. Her ears stright on end
What was that sound?
There it is again

She runs if on air
Back through the living room. Back past the chair
Over the stool and in front of the hall door.
In walks a lovely face
One she has seen many times before
